Downloads and PNG exports

LineArtReady focuses on direct PNG downloads because they are predictable, easy to inspect, and widely accepted by engraving workflows. A beta SVG export is also available after PNG generation for users who want vector paths to test in their laser software.

Download from the finished artwork

When generation is complete, use Download PNG from the artwork area. On mobile, the file should download rather than opening a confusing new tab. If you want vectors, generate the beta SVG from the selected PNG and inspect the paths before cutting.

Use the PNG as production input

Import the PNG into your engraving software, set the final size, check contrast, and test the material settings before production.

Use SVG beta carefully

SVG beta can be useful when you want vector paths, but the PNG remains the primary file to trust. Inspect SVG paths in your laser software before cutting.

Photo tips

  • Download each result you may want to compare later.
  • Inspect the PNG at the approximate engraving size before committing.
  • Keep generated files organised by customer or order.
  • If lines look too dense, regenerate with a lighter line weight.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming one PNG works for every material size.
  • Forgetting to test engraving settings on a scrap piece.
  • Using a very detailed result on a small product.
  • Assuming beta SVG paths are production-perfect without checking them in your laser software.

FAQs

What format can I download today?

LineArtReady supports PNG download for generated artwork and a beta SVG export after the PNG is created.

When should I use SVG beta?

SVG is available as a beta export after PNG generation. It can be useful, but it should be inspected because automatic vector paths may need cleanup.

Will the download work on mobile?

The download action is designed to save the PNG on mobile and desktop instead of relying on a new image tab.
